We have an exciting opportunity for a Facilities Team Leader to join our team in Leeds.

The Team Leader will work within the Property and Workplace department to provide a first class professional Property and Workplace service which is client focused, commercial, innovative and supportive of the firm's business needs and vision.

* The DLA Piper Property and Workplace department provides premises and office services including management and maintenance of the firm's property portfolio and business support services including but not restricted to maintenance, storage, archiving, mail services, logistics, catering, vending, reception, switchboard services, security, cleaning, hospitality and meeting room support, refurbishments, projects and relocations, health and safety compliance
* Reporting to a Property and Workplace Team Coordinator, the Property and Workplace Team Leader delivers agreed levels of Property and Workplace services and activities to achieve a high level of client and staff satisfaction

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

* Line management responsibility for assigned Property and Workplace Assistants and supervision of the assigned team to ensure departmental service levels are met for allocated area of responsibility (e.g. mail and courier services, bulk/heavy deliveries, travel ticket and reprographics distribution, Records Management, stationery management, meeting room sets ups)
* Detail work practices and procedures to ensure a thorough understanding of all tasks and duties and provide sufficient training in all tasks and duties to be undertaken by the assigned team
* Maintain a staffing rota to ensure staffing levels meet the needs of the business/opening hours
* Respond to ad hoc service requests from internal and external customers (and if applicable any sub tenants of DLA Piper) delegating tasks as appropriate
* Work with other Property and Workplace Team Leaders to ensure a seamless service within the department and provide cover as needed
* Work with Property and Workplace suppliers as directed to maintain a high standard of service provision to the office
* Keep the Property and Workplace Coordinator informed of any issues
* Attendance at meetings as directed by Property and Workplace Coordinator
* Deliver new starter induction as directed by Property and Workplace Coordinator
* Liaise with landlord building management team and building security teams as required. Undertake administration tasks as directed by the Property and Workplace Coordinator
* Undertake or assist with office moves and space planning as directed by the Property and Workplace Coordinator
* Undertake or assist with projects as directed by the Property and Workplace Coordinator
* Undertake health and safety duties as directed by the Property and Workplace Coordinator
