As part of a continued focus on developing and shaping our customer services and supporting our wider operations, we are looking for a Property Paralegal / Conveyancer (1 post) to join our Legal Services Team.
Reporting to the Head of Legal Services, you will be the internal property lead for the completion of legal due diligence on Onward's assets and to deal with various Land Registry applications in order to process them for securitisation.
You will be responsible for reviewing leases, deeds and other property title documents, dealing with legal title or acquisition enquiries. You will complete analysis of current land registry position, prepare land registry documentation and respond to subsequent queries.
You will undertake legal research using online practice resources, in-house library and any other sources and provide assistance to external lawyers in due diligence reporting and building effective relationships.
You must have a high level of attention to detail with effective personal organisational and time management skills. You should be client focussed with an ability to build strong relationships with clients and third party contacts at all levels and therefore excellent written and verbal communication skills is essential demonstrating an ability to communicate with colleagues at all levels. You should have proven ability to work to tight timescales with a sense of urgency, consistently demonstrating a flexible proactive ‘can-do’ attitude, with the ability to work on your own initiative, seeking guidance from others where appropriate.
It is essential that you have a minimum of one year's experience as a Property Paralegal / Conveyancer with an understanding and/or up to date practical experience of conveyancing procedures.
