Legal 500 practice seeks experienced professional negligence lateral hire to bolster its highly-regarded insurance practice in London.
My client is a leading firm with an excellent reputation for high quality work, acting for insurers on matters including construction (both contentious and non-contentious), professional negligence, international disputes, corporate matters and regulatory work. An opportunity has arisen within the firm’s thriving professional negligence team for an experienced and well-connected lawyer to join at partner level, advising on a variety of claims against solicitors, IFAs, architects, barristers, brokers, etc.
You will have a solid background within this sector already, having worked at a senior level within other firms which are recognised for the quality of their respective insurance offering, and will be familiar with advising professionals on the defence of their the claim from instruction until a (hopefully) successful conclusion. It will be expected that you enjoy a strong reputation within the professional negligence field, evidenced by having a portable network of referrers and clients who will move with you, and will be either currently operating at partner level or be a senior associate/director/counsel level and looking to take a step forward in your career.
Remuneration is highly competitive and should attract the best talent available.
