Douglas Scott is currently looking for a Junior Private Client Solicitor, for a highly-regarded Legal 500 firm based in St Albans, Herts. This firm has a reputation for their excellent levels of client care in delivering high quality legal services to their varied client base.

On offer is the opportunity to work at this highly-ranked firm within Private Client in Legal 500, with long-standing roots in the Herts area. They are looking for a friendly and enthusiastic personality to join their department, and their tight-knit team.

This role will involve managing your own caseload of all aspects of private client matters including a full spectrum of good quality complex Private Client matters including Wills & Probate, Planning, Inheritance Tax, Trusts, Court of Protection, Powers of Attorney and Estate Administration. You will need to have experience managing your own caseload, preferably from a small to mid size firm, and be able to work effectively as part of a fast-paced team.

Professional must-haves:

• Qualified for upwards of 2 years within private client
• A proven background in dealing with a full range of Wills, Probate, Trusts and LPA’S.

Personable preferences:

• A good technical background & commercial awareness
• Energetic and natural enthusiasm to bring to the team
