About the Principal Property Lawyer role

A highly reputable Local Authority in the home counties is seeking a Principal Property Lawyer to join their friendly team on an immediate basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Principal Property Lawyer to work within a highly regarded local authority team on a part time basis for 26 hours per week, with flexibility around when these hours are worked. This local authority is based in Surrey and the Principal Property lawyer will be offered the opportunity to work on a hybrid basis with office attendance expected once a week.

Key responsibilities of the Principal Property Lawyer role

Key duties of the Principal Property Lawyer will include:

• Dealing with disposals of land
• Dealing with disposals of commercial premises
• Property advice related work
• Handling a varied caseload of commercial property matters, including the chance to pick up high level work

About You

The organisation is looking to hire a Principal Property Lawyer who demonstrates:

• Experience of working within a Local Authority
• Recent experience working with commercial property law
• The ability to work autonomously on your own matters and hit the ground running
