Plot Sales Conveyancer

Description

An excellent opportunity for an experienced Plot Sales Conveyancer has arisen to develop their career working as part of a team where no two days are the same.

The successful candidate will work closely with the Real Estate partner with exposure to the firm’s property clients and be involved in business development.

You will need to be professional and articulate and be capable of building and developing relationships both internally and externally. You must also be capable of engaging with other professionals. Excellent client management and communication skills are essential as is the ability to work at pace, whilst maintaining exceptional levels of client service.

Previous experience of plot sales is preferred.

The role will cover:

* running your own busy caseload from instruction to file closure

* handling of SDLT returns, land registry searches, completion statements and mortgage lender enquiries

* preparation of all legal documents for a development site in preparation of plot sales

* providing advice in line with the Consumer Code for Home Builders and how this affects your development and how to avoid complaints

Business Development

* attending conveyancing related marketing events

* writing conveyancing blogs and articles

* assisting in managing client relationships

* attending and assisting in firm related marketing activities

This is a full time, permanent role with working hours of 9.00am – 5.00pm on Mondays to Fridays inclusive, with one hour for lunch.
