We have recruited some Pensions Lawyers and are looking for more, to grow our exemplary Pensions team, which is consistently ranked in the top tier by both the Legal 500 and Chambers & Partners.
Our team “has ‘excellent industry knowledge' and provides ‘practical and pragmatic' ‘first-class advice' on pensions in the regulatory field.” (Legal 500)
We advise trustees and employers on non-contentious and litigious matters. We also assist trustees and private and public sector clients with defined benefit, defined contribution and hybrid schemes (whether opened, closed or in winding up) with all aspects of:
* Specialist pensions legal advice
* Pensions disputes
* Document drafting
The team provides advice to both public and private sector clients on all aspects of Pensions law. Our practice is largely free-standing, with only a small proportion of our turnover derived from corporate support work.
The team advises over 700 schemes, including: AT&T, Babcock, Chanel, Crest Nicholson, FirstGroup, Great Lakes, Hampshire County Council, Honda, Leonardo, NAAFI, University of Oxford and Western Power Distribution.
If you would like to join us, we look for an excellent academic record and evidence of 'hands-on' pensions experience gained at a professional firm with a first-class reputation for pensions work. You should be a strong team player and be able to manage a complex and varied workload effectively, as the successful candidate will enjoy a variety of work in different areas of the development's practice. Experience in the supervision and bringing on of junior lawyers would be advantageous.
We're committed to finding the right person for this role and are open to discussing flexible working patterns. The successful candidate will need to be willing to travel to meet the needs of our clients and could choose to be based predominantly in our Bristol or London office.
