Paralegal/File Handler - Fast & Multi Track RTA Motor- Bolton

File handler or Senior Paralegal- Bolton - This leading national firm is hiring within its Non-Delegated Authority Motor team. This role requires an experienced Paralegal / File handler to deal with litigated delegated and non-delegated motor instructions on behalf of key insurer clients.

Overview

• Job Title: Paralegal / File handler
• Location: Bolton
• Salary: Up to 38,000 dependant on experience
• Work pattern: Hybrid
• Term: Permanent
• Previous experience: Sound and practical experience of handling Fast & Multi-Track RTA litigated files.

Specialist technician in RTA work.

The successful candidate should be able to recognise cases with a technical bias and be comfortable in dealing with multi-track work as well as having fast track litigation experience. Duties involve:

• Formulating initial and ongoing Strategy
• Drafting reports confirming Strategy and agreeing the most suitable approach with the client.
• Undertaking negotiations with Third Party Solicitors
• Insuring relevant tasks are delegated to the paralegals

• Have complete knowledge of litigation, the CPR Rules and Court procedures.
• Have good client care skills
• Be able to recognise and delegate some tasks
• Recognise when sensitivity and tact are required

Flexible / remote working

The role offers a hybrid working arrangement with the option of 1 day per week spent in the office and 4 days working from home.
