The team has a national presence through the Birmingham, London and Leeds offices. The work we carry out comprises of three key elements; Acquisition work, Plot Support work and Plot Sales. We act for all top ten house builders and seventeen of the top twenty house builders, our whole team are incredibly specialist and has an enviable national reputation.
The Partners encourage a supportive team environment where supervision is always available and members can seek advice and further their knowledge from others. We also work closely with the Planning, Construction and Tax teams.
The Infrastructure Team is a specialist team that sits within the Plot Support side of our Residential Development team and is managed by Fay Lothian. The team assists our housebuilder and developer clients in ensuring they have the correct services to any new residential development sites.
Duties & Responsibilities
Within our Infrastructure team we have a number of Paralegals who assist in; negotiating and completing electricity and road and drainage agreements, as well as variety of other documents.
Other typical duties and responsibilities are varied and the successful candidate will be expected to; manage a large caseload under supervision and negotiate and report on agreements (both externally to clients’ and internally for management requirements), in order to complete these as efficiently as possible in order to meet the clients requirements.
Key Skills & Experience
Our successful candidate will have completed their undergraduate law degree and ideally have completed their LPC, but this is not essential.
Whilst the role will require some drafting, training will be given. Real Estate experience whilst desirable, is not necessary.
The successful candidate should have excellent communication skills, attention to detail and be methodical and enthusiastic.
