Paralegal – Private Property & Agriculture – Bristol

Vacancy details

We are seeking an experienced Paralegal to join our Private Property & Agriculture team handling a mix of residential transactions.

Role: Paralegal

Location: Bristol

Hours: Full Time or Part Time

Term: Permanent

Vacancy Reference: 632-PBL

The role

Based in our Private Property & Agriculture team you will be working on a range of residential property purchases, sales, transfers of equity and mortgage related work, dealing with both freehold and leasehold properties.

You will be assisting senior lawyers with a conveyancing case load covering a broad range of property types, to include both country houses and town property, often involving listed buildings and unregistered titles. In addition to assisting with administration, file management, and accounts you will have plenty of client contact. Our clients choose to instruct us to benefit from a high quality, tailored service and you will develop your client relationship skills to meet their expectations. The relatively high proportion of unregistered property means that you will be able to develop skills that do not feature prominently in classroom training.

Using our file management software, you should quickly be able to develop your experience and legal skills.

Based in a friendly and supportive team, this role provides an excellent opportunity to develop your property career.

It is an integral part of this role that you comply with data security and all firm policies and procedures.

About you

With good A Level grades and GCSEs, you will preferably have knowledge of a typical conveyancing transaction. Ideally you will have some experience of handling conveyancing or remortgaging work and be keen to extend your skills and experience. The role would complement training that you may be undertaking such as ILEX or post graduate study.

To be successful in this role you will have excellent communication and IT skills, integrity and a professional manner. You will also be good at using your initiative and determined to provide the best service possible for your clients.

If you would like to apply for this vacancy, please send us your CV, together with a covering email/letter using the apply button.
