About the team
Our Human Rights team are currently working on a large variety of cases for individuals based within the UK and abroad. The team act primarily for clients who are, or have been, detained under immigration powers. This includes public and private law claims challenging unlawful detention, delays in the provision of Home Office accommodation and claims related to other immigration bail conditions. They also act in cases relating to adequacy of accommodation as well as age assessment challenges. They are also currently working on the Afghan Relocation and Assistance Policy (ARAP), which aims to support Afghan nationals at risk from the Taliban with their urgent applications for relocation.
The team also act in cases involving national security issues in proceedings before the Special Immigration Appeals Commission and the High Court. They also act in high profile cases of public international law.

We have an opportunity for a paralegal to join this team to support a Partner and other fee earners.
