We are currently seeking an experienced Paralegal for our highly renowned family team in Lincoln.

With teams in both York and Lincoln and some of the strongest names in the business, our Family Law team has quite a reputation for delivering an exceptional quality of service relating to family matters. We provide a broad range of expertise in relation to issues including divorce and separation, cohabitation, civil partnerships, pre-marital agreements and collaborative law.

The majority of our work revolves around the financial aspects of divorce and provides the opportunity to get involved with high quality work whilst support some fantastic clients, including those with high net worth.

With such a varied caseload there is plenty of opportunity both to demonstrate your existing skills along with continuing to develop within your profession.

The key focus of this role will be the provision of timely, efficient and highly organised legal support to the fee earners within the team, with tasks including managing day to day emails and other correspondence, liaising with experts, clients and other professionals. The role will also include preparation of court bundles, basic fee earning work and sitting behind counsel at court. We are looking for someone who has experience within a similar role, ideally within a family law team. If you are currently a legal secretary or administrator ready for you next move then this role could also be for you.

You will also be acting as the first point of contact for enquiries. Therefore, excellent client service skills are required along with the ability to put people at ease during sometimes emotional and challenging situations. Strong verbal and written communication skills are also key, as you will liaise on a daily basis with a varied range of stakeholders from private individuals and other professionals.
