Reporting to our Partner & Group Leader, you will join our team of 5 based at our Brighton office.

THE FIRM AND ROLE

DMH Stallard is an award winning and expanding legal 100 firm with a headcount of circa 270, which provides integrated legal services from our offices in London, Gatwick, Guildford, Horsham and Brighton.

We are seeking a Paralegal to join our Dispute Resolution team, specialising in commercial litigation, IP, technology disputes and any other related work. You will be responsible under supervision for your own caseload as well as achieving personal fee targets. As well as being a valuable team member providing support and assistance, you will also ensure a high quality service is provided to all our clients.

If you enjoy working as part of a team, are client focused and enthusiastic with some previous legal work experience or academic knowledge, ideally in Dispute Resolution (commercial, intellectual property & technology), this could be the role for you!

WHO AND WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

* Ideally some related legal work experience or academic knowledge in Commercial Dispute Resolution and LPC

* Some previous experience of litigation would be an advantage

* Some working knowledge of the Civil Procedure Rules

* Effective time management and organisational skills with the ability to achieve deadlines

* Excellent client care skills with the ability to handle a range of clients

* A willingness to support others as and when required and be an efficient team player

* Excellent attention to detail and effective communication skills

* Competent IT skills particularly using Excel, Word, Outlook, Digital Dictation and Axxia

* Be able to work well under pressure, be proactive and handle a varied workload

* The ability to achieve personal fee targets
