The Role

Working as a Paralegal, you’ll support the 30 strong Real Estate team with legal administrative tasks. You’ll work to support the transactional team with common early and post completion issues including submitting due diligence property searches; obtaining documents from the Land Registry; setting up and managing data-rooms; dealing with Stamp Duty Land Tax returns and Land Registry applications.

As your confidence in the role increases, you’ll start to work on larger transactions and projects, and with the support of more senior members of the team, you’ll have exposure to a range of interesting and high-value tasks. We’d like you to be ambitious, driven and work to build up your caseload over time as your experience within the team grows. Given the nature of the role, you will have strong attention to detail to ensure that you are confident completing important legal and administrative tasks to a high standard.

You’ll be an exceptional communicator with the ability to build excellent working relationships across the wider business as well as working with external institutions and organisations. You must be able to demonstrate an aptitude for client care ensuring that all client work is processed in a timely manner with the client kept up to date at all times.

Ideally you will be caring and approachable, enjoy team working and be prepared to contribute to best practice by sharing your ideas with the wider team. In order to develop yourself and others, you will be helpful and prepared to assist your team members as and when required.

Previous property experience would be beneficial as would an ability to organise your own workload in the face of changing priorities. If you are looking to develop your legal skills and have a particular interest in Commercial Real Estate, we would love to hear from you.
