The current role is based in the Manchester office but we will accept applications from suitable candidates in other offices. There may be occasional travel to other offices as part of the training programmes.

This is a customer services/sales role making outbound telephone calls to clients who Simpson Millar currently hold a Will for. The purpose of the outbound call is to inform the client that Simpson Millar holds the Will, and then, through a short series of relevant questions, ascertain if the Will is still up to date and fit for purpose for the client.

If the Will remains fit for purpose, client details are obtained to update relevant databases and a call back in 2 years time is agreed.

If the Will is not fit for purpose, aim of the call is to secure agreement from the client to attend a no obligation Will review meeting at their local Simpson Millar offices or at home with a qualified legal advisor.

Personal Qualities

1. Able to convey a positive engaging personality over the . Positive demeanour and attitude in the face of adversity.
3. Excellent communicator and empathetic active listener.
4. Positive ability to persuade and close.
5. Ability to think on feet and manage an open conversation to the desired conclusion.
6. Patient conversational approach required from time to time as often clients may be elderly.
7. KPI and target driven.

Knowledge & Experience

1. Previous customer service experience over the telephone desirable but not a must.
2. Ability to multi task across IT systems.
3. Knowledge of terminology around Wills and probate desirable but full support and training provided.

Salary & Benefits

1. Salary £17,500 to £18,500 dependant on experience.
2. Two stage commission structure based on appointments secured & sat against weekly and monthly targets; then % share of revenue billed by advisor and banked as a result of appointment booked.
