JOB TITLE NQ Solicitor – Real Estate, Commercial Property Based in Glasgow REPORTING TO

Johane Murray, Head of Practice Area JOB PURPOSE
You will work with our teams on a whole range of projects, across the real estate spectrum and covering
all sectors. We are looking for someone who wants to work on market leading development and
investment deals in the Scottish market and work with law firms in London and across the globe on multi-
jurisdictional deals. CORE TASKS

• You will be an intrinsic part of the team delivering services across the wide range of workstreams
mentioned above.
• You will be part of a core team delivering support on market leading investment deals (be that
shopping centres, retail parks, office or industrial portfolios).
• You will be involved in all aspects of commercial development, from site assembly onwards.
• You will be closely involved with magic circle and global firms working on cross border due diligence
projects, your role being to project manage due diligence workstreams and reporting.



• You will review, analyse and report on titles with reference to clients' interests with a focus on the
interest they are acquiring.
• You will be involved in business development activities and firm initiatives including Brodies Academy.
• You will be actively encouraged to develop the business, building your own network of contacts and
contributing to team-wide business development activities.
• Be aware of Brodies’ information security policies, and protect information assets from unauthorised
access, disclosure, modification, destruction or interference at all times. PERSON SPECIFICATION
