This highly rated national law firm are seeking a Construction solicitor to join their London office. This is a brilliant opportunity for a junior solicitor to join a leading organisation that can offer excellent career progressions.

This firm provide construction law solutions across a wide spectrum of projects within the construction industry. They act for a range of clients, including property owners, private and public institutions, developers, funders, contractors, suppliers and construction consultants.

Applications are invited from candidates who are ideally 2-4 years PQE. You should have a demonstrable interest in construction law as well has having a strong academic track record. Applicants with more experience are also encouraged to apply.

The ideal candidate will mainly have experience of non-contentious construction law, std form construction contracts and some experience of commercial and/or housing development work.

A good working knowledge of the various std form contracts and appointments, including JCT, NEC and EPC forms, their standard amendments and market norms is ideal, as is a willingness to take on more bespoke, complex agreements, large scale due diligence exercises and/or typical development arrangements with appropriate supervision. There will also be opportunities to develop and to get involved with BD.

The firm operates a hybrid agile working policy allowing employees to work from home (or another UK location) for at least 50% of their time. Individuals can also apply for other flexible working options either at the time of recruitment or during the course of their employment.
