We are currently recruiting for an experienced remortgage caseworker to handle a large number of technical, non-fast track remortgage instructions.

Our QCAS division provides specialist volume conveyancing services to the leading businesses in the UK lending, estate agency and house-building industries. We use the latest technology, combined with a commitment to delivering excellent service, to ensure speed and value for our clients and their customers.

Due to our continued success, we are looking for motivated and driven individuals to join our team, as we expand the team further.

Role Requirements

You will be responsible for handling a caseload of technical, non fast track remortgage instructions, including Transfers of Equity, Deeds of Postponement, Restrictions, Shared Ownership and Staircasing as well as other similar, technical work as it arises.

The role will require you to carry out title investigation work and identification checks, conduct the appropriate searches, process the completion and attend to post completion matters to ensure the client’s charge is secured as a first legal charge.

As one of the more experienced caseworkers in the team, you will also be helping to coach and support others, offering them technical advice and assistance as it is needed.

What we are looking for

You will have proven technical experience of dealing with each part of the remortgage process and be able to deal routinely with the more challenging aspects of remortgage work.

A calm and methodical approach is essential. You should be experienced in achieving monthly completions targets whilst maintaining a high quality standard of work.

You will be comfortable working to tight deadlines and within Service Level Agreements.

Excellent organisational skills and strong IT skills are essential for this role. Previous experience of using a case management system is also important.

You will also be a team player with a professional approach to work and enjoy a busy workload. It is also important to demonstrate a strong commitment to client care and possess excellent communication skills.

You will enjoy coaching and mentoring in order to advise and help our colleagues learn and develop further.
