Newly qualified Solicitor sought to join thriving firm in Cheshire. Preferably with previous Financial Mis-selling experience, although not essential.
A fairly new law firm that has quickly established themselves well in the area of financial mis-selling, dealing with all unfair relationship between clients and either lenders, brokers or insurance underwriters, sighting an unfair relationship between them and the customer. The objective is to ensure that the Banks are made accountable for the non-disclosure of commissions on loans and insurance policies and the customer receives adequate compensation. Extremely client focused they offer incomparable advice and provide effective solutions, ensuring they get the best outcome for their clients. Currently experiencing a period of expansion, they now require a newly qualified Solicitor to join their team and are set to grow considerably more.
The role requires a Solicitor able to deliver excellent client care and someone who is willing to contribute to the further development of the department. The successful Solicitor will ensure high levels of accuracy and demonstrate an excellent understanding of financial law. The successful recruit will respond to client enquiries, advising appropriately and building up strong client relations. Maintaining a diverse caseload, this will entail attending client meetings; attending before District Judge or tribunals as required; drawing up contracts; interviewing witnesses; representing clients and; preparing statements.

It’s essential that you have a strong academic background.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills will be crucial for this role.
Current knowledge of all aspects of compliance, Data Protection, Anti Money Laundering and financial crime awareness.
Highly personable with an empathetic approach, confident networking skills is desirable.
Self-motivated and able to prioritise work, meeting tight deadlines under pressure.
