We’re looking for an unusual hire into our Marketing team, but one which will grow to have impact and influence.

So why should this interest you? Well our firm is 2 years into a growth plan that will see head count increase by over 20% year on year. Despite the disruption this year has brought many organisations, we’ve continued to develop and see genuine optimism coming out of the next 3-5 years. So, it’s an exciting time to join, but with that comes the challenge of driving and creating leads which will help to shape the future of the business. We might be a law firm, but we’re certainly not a slow paced, old fashioned organisation. Things move at pace, we’re commercial, numbers focused and always looking to improve.

Working directly with the Chief Marketing Officer we’re looking someone with potential; a problem solver, a plate spinner, someone who can organise, has an excellent eye for detail, and can work within a fast paced and demanding environment and isn’t phased by it. You’ll have responsibility for managing projects, for budgets and financials, you’ll pull the key members of the team together, who’ll organise and co-ordinate, who will see what needs doing and make sure it’s done before it happens. You’ll have strong Excel and PowerPoint ability; you’ll be able to produce documents for steering meetings and will make sure the actions points are delivered beforehand.

You’ll likely be a relatively new graduate or someone with around 1-3 years' experience who is looking to gain a rapid and high level introduction to a career in marketing. You'll get exposure to working in a fast paced professional services law firm, working directly with the CMO so your growth and exposure will be excellent.

The demands on the CMO are such that he needs to be able to rely on this person to have things done and make sure everyone else is working in line, so you’ll need not to be a retiring wallflower, but it means you’ll get a fantastic opportunity to be at the heart of the lead generation element of a fast paced and commercially driven law firm.

This role will mean you’re the go-to person for operational needs within the marketing team, and have the responsibility to make sure it ticks.

Does this sound like you? If so, then I’d love to hear from you. I appreciate it’s a non-standard role so more than happy to have conversations around the ins and outs before you might want to and I’ll take DM, emails or calls to suit.
