Marketing Executive

Bindmans is a highly successful London law firm with reputation for excellence and for being at the cutting edge of legal developments.

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a driven, ambitious and accomplished Marketing Executive wishing to make that step up into a more senior and autonomous role. We are looking for an individual who can lead and deliver strategic and innovative projects and bring a significant degree of creativity into how they achieve objectives. This is a busy, operational role but also one that has a lot of involvement in high profile case work where gaining knowledge of the firms’ multiple business streams as quickly as possible combined with professional marketing experience is key.

Key responsibilities

* To develop and implement a digital marketing strategy, in line with the overall objectives of the firm and budgets, including identifying key target areas, technology capabilities, current trends and evaluation techniques.
* To act as the first point of contact for website development, with responsibility to drive SEO optimisation projects.
* To lead the preparation of directory and award submissions for the departments with the appropriate Fee Earners.
* To produce monthly marketing reports, including post campaign analysis and follow up strategies.
* To coordinate the design and development of the firm’s literature and promotional materials.
* To project manage and create high quality content for assigned marketing and BD initiatives, e.g. annual events, award nominations, credential statements.
* To execute plans for new service development, including competitive landscape research, copywriting, planning and executing marketing and PR campaigns and producing evaluation reports.
* To modernise the process of obtaining and analysing client feedback.
* To provide guidance and act as a role model to the Marketing Assistant, including managing day to day workload and identifying priorities.
* To strengthen the firm’s reputation in the sectors through the identification of speaking and media opportunities.
* To act as first point of contact for all press enquiries, building links with journalists and editors at key publications and assisting fee earners in achieving press coverage.
* To act as brand ambassador at all times, ensuring consistency across the board.

Person specification

* CIM qualification or equivalent highly desirable.
* Minimum 2 years’ marketing experience; previous law firm experience welcome, although professionals from marketing/digital agency environment will be considered.
* High level of organisational ability, excellent time management and a commitment to deliver results for the firm.
* Solid understanding of digital marketing and SEO processes.
* Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite package (InDesign, Photoshop, etc.)
* Excellent oral and written communications with a commitment to quality.
* Methodical, able to think and plan ahead with excellent attention to detail.
* Personable and confident, able to build relationships with partners/ key stakeholders
* Good judgement and an ability to make well-reasoned and independent decisions.
* Able to manage workload autonomously to meet set deadlines and deliver to a high standard.
* High level of confidentiality, discretion and diplomacy.
