About the Role
The PwC Technology Risk division is the UK’s leading risk and control solutions provider. The Digital Integration team and the services they provide represent a strategic priority for PwC due to the increasing demand from organisations to optimise risk and control management through technology. The team have been successful in winning a number of significant, large scale risk and control transformation projects, supplementing an existing base of assurance and consulting engagements.
As a Senior Associate you will report to a Director or Partner leading the team, to deliver Digital Integration (e.g. SAP, Oracle and/or Workday) related work to some of the largest organisations in the UK. This role provides an outstanding opportunity to progress, develop and be rewarded for achievement as part of a successful and growing part of the PwC business.
About the Team
You’ll work in our industry leading, London Top-Tier (LTT) team. Our LTT team provides services to a wide range of FTSE 100 clients from both the public and private sectors. Your role will see you working in industries of all varieties including retail, energy, entertainment and manufacturing. You’ll be a key member in our Digital Integration team. The team represents a strategic priority for PwC due to the increasing demand from organisations to optimise risk and control management through technology. We’ve been successful in winning a number of significant risk and control transformation projects, supplementing an existing base of assurance and consulting engagements.
Delivering security and controls reviews;
Reviewing the readiness of clients to migrate their systems to the cloud, and providing support and assistance as part of these implementation projects
Delivering pre- and post- implementation reviews of ERP security and controls (both manual and configurable/automated controls), using in house tools;
Helping clients design their security and control environments during transformation;
Designing and implementing GRC solutions, helping clients optimise control management;
Helping clients optimise their use of system functionality;
Supporting business development and proposal activity
Strong business consulting skills, including client handling and communication skills, logical problem solving, facilitation and listening skills.
* Overall understanding of ERP systems, including business process controls and security.
Experience of implementing GRC technology solutions (controls module, risk module, audit management, Continuous Controls Monitoring, etc.)
Detailed knowledge of best practice business controls expected within core processes supported by key systems and modules and/or
Detailed knowledge of security, including authorisation concept and role design for core processes
Applied knowledge of Sarbanes-Oxley 404 legislation
New technology experience including CRM, SRM, BI/BW systems
Experience of security and control implementations
Related certifications such as CISA or CIA are preferred
Project management methodology and associated tools such as Prince2 and Microsoft Project
