We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced immigration lawyer to join Bindmans working with Here for Good as a Solicitor. You should be 1-3 years PQE. Level 2 IAAS accreditation is preferred. This is an exciting opportunity which it is envisaged will play a central role in the ongoing work that is at the heart of tackling one of Brexit’s most complex issues as well as running a number of their own cases.

The Solicitor will be employed and supervised by Bindmans LLP. You will work with Here for Good to deliver the service from Bindmans LLP.

Here for Good’s solicitor will primarily be responsible for assisting with complex EU Settlement Scheme casework for those most in-need. This primarily includes (but is not limited to):

* homeless people;
* those living in financial hardship;
* victims of domestic violence;
* victims of modern slavery and/or human trafficking;
* members of the Roma community; and

The casework will include assisting with applications under the EUSS, as well as with appeals and judicial review action. It will also involve navigating and assisting those in-need through the post-EUSS deadline scenario (ie. post-30 June 2021).

In addition, the Solicitor will be expected to provide a mix of operational and oversight, supervising their own part time Paralegal in their role of providing case work support, growing and managing Here for Good’s volunteer network, liaising with partner organisations and measuring and evaluating the impact of our work.
