Friends, Romans*, 2019 litigation qualifiers – lend me your ears!
I am working with a well-established and highly regarded firm in the West Midlands which is looking to strengthen its litigation offering through the recruitment of a 2019 qualifying disputes lawyer. The firm is embarking on a period of expansion and this is a perfect opportunity for a solicitor who is looking to develop their experience working alongside experts within this field, as well as to have the opportunity to market and develop their own contacts, although there is plenty of work to go around!
You will be looking to take on a varied caseload of both civil and commercial litigation, ranging from neighbour disputes and contentious probate through to large disputes which can reach the High Court or Chancery Court, with the firm recently handling disputes of up to £2m in value for its corporate clients. As a result this is an excellent opportunity for a solicitor who is looking to be a real ‘all-rounder’ and deal with quality work on a regular basis but whilst still enjoying the benefits of being part of a smaller team, with mentoring and guidance available to take you through the early stages of your post-qualification career.
Due to the structure of the team the role is targeted as solicitors due to qualify in 2019, and is open to anyone qualifying earlier in the year as well as September qualifiers. Remuneration is competitive and should attract talented lawyers looking for an expanding firm where they can make their mark.
