Litigation Data Administrator

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Data Administrator to join our Litigation team based in Canary Wharf. This is a truly exciting opportunity to join a unique law firm and advance your career. The firm

The firm provides specialist legal advice, case management and court representation. The role is based in our Litigation department, which trades as SCS Law specialising in civil law, in particular small claims, landlord and tenant and general case management. Assisting the Head of Litigation and the Litigation Team with all tasks related to the provision of the litigation service, you will undertake a range of administrative tasks, in particular data processing.

Main responsibilities

  1. Responsibility for processing large datasets in Microsoft Excel received from volume clients in order to import the data into our file management system.
  2. Responsibility for preparing and sending Letters of Claim for SCS Law volume litigation clients.
  3. Assisting with the maintenance of all SCS Law volume litigation case management files, including issuing claims and producing/sending particulars of claim.
  4. Production of weekly bulk invoices.
  5. General case administration including assisting with post.
  6. Operating the case management system as and where appropriate.
  7. Assisting with the service provided to clients via SCS Law, including opening general case management files, conducting conflict checks, and sending retainers.
  8. Responding to general queries from clients and third parties.
  9. Ad hoc administrative tasks as requested.


6 months fixed term.

Normal hours of work

9:00 am - 6:00 pm, Monday to Friday

Demonstrates strong attention to detail, together with ability to organise and prioritise.

Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
