A Legal Secretary with experience in private client is sought by this law firm to work in their Taunton office.   

You will support three fee earners in the private client department so will require someone organised with excellent audio typing skills.  You will be confident managing a busy workload and be able to use your own initiative.   The role also includes support to the private client team on a remote basis by digital dictation.

You will need to be able to :

  • Demonstrate excellent secretarial and typing skills with good attention to detail;
  • Demonstrate previous experience using digital dictation and case management software;
  • Demonstrate flexibility by assisting with typing for all members of the department by digital dictation remotely when required;
  • Manage fee earners’ electronic diaries;
  • Demonstrate good organisation and communication skills;
  • Have an ability to work flexibly and cope with changing priorities;
  • Take a positive and proactive approach to work, anticipating the needs of the department;
  • Be competent using Word and other Microsoft products such as Outlook and Powerpoint;
  • Previous legal secretarial experience is essential;
  • Previous private client experience is preferable.
