Legal Secretary

We are seeking to recruit an experienced Legal Secretary who will be able to provide secretarial and administrative support to our Commercial Property and Company Commercial teams at our Carmarthen office.

We are keen to hear from experienced legal secretaries who have an organised and enthusiastic approach to work. The successful candidate will need to have excellent attention to detail and the ability to deliver in a consistent manner. Previous experience of working with Lawman would be advantageous.

Salary: Dependent upon Experience

Benefits: Private Health Care, Life Cover, Pension, On-Site Parking

Position: Full Time and Permanent (Monday - Friday 9.00am to 5.00pm)

Key Responsibilities

To provide secretarial support to Directors and Assistant Solicitors with such tasks as:

* Digital Dictation

* Creating and amending documents and letters

* Maintaining both hard and soft copies of client files

* Photocopying

* Dealing with client enquiries

* Answering Calls and taking messages where necessary

* Creation and Maintenance of precedent documents within Lawman

Key Skills:

* Ability to type accurately – knowledge of “Track Changing” and “Legal Numbering” is essential

* Ability to turn around large documents at speed

* Excellent communication skills both written and oral

* Proficient in using Microsoft Office

* Excellent IT skills

* Strong attention to detail

* Exceptional organisational skills

* Flexible approach

* Typing speed above 65 wpm
