This vibrant and acclaimed academic institution now seeks to recruit a Legal Counsel to join its in-house Legal Team.

Working closely alongside the Head of Legal and with support from external legal providers from an international law firm, you will provide pragmatic and commercially focussed legal, governance and IP advice to the institution and its subsidiaries.

Work will be commercially focussed and will include the negotiation and drafting of commercial contracts. This includes supply and purchase agreements, licences, confidentiality agreements, research and other collaboration agreements, memoranda of understanding, corporate documentation and consultancy agreements, regulatory issues and intellectual property.

The role will support home working and / or part time hours and comes with an excellent benefits package including 10% pension, parking, 42 days holiday, private medical cover.
