This vibrant and progressive academic institution is recruiting for a Legal Counsel for their small in-house legal team.
The role would suit a junior solicitor. Or perhaps someone more experienced, looking to work on a part time basis, perhaps after a period out of work.
You will support all facets of the institution, supporting the Head of Legal Services and with external support from an international law firm.
The role is broad but is focussed on the negotiation and drafting of commercial contracts. This includes supply and purchase agreements, licences, confidentiality agreements, research and other collaboration agreements, memoranda of understanding, corporate documentation and consultancy agreements, regulatory issues and intellectual property.
The role will support home working and / or part time hours and comes with an excellent benefits package including 10% pension, parking, 42 days holiday, private medical cover.
