Legal Call Handler

Location: Manchester/Home based

Salary £17,335 + bonus

Role Purpose: To handle new business calls in a professional manner, identify legal requirements and facilitate a smooth transition into the legal specialist and practice areas. It involves working closely with the legal specialist teams and legal practice areas to learn and develop your understanding of consumer law, whilst delivering great customer service on every call.

Our Contact Centre teams are currently all working from home with no immediate plans to return to the office. Our longer term location plans are yet to be finalised but we anticipate that this role will be mainly home based with periods in our Manchester office. The initial induction training will be office based.

Key Responsibilities:

* Respond to new business enquiries promptly, handling inbound and outbound calls, emails and any other new enquiry channel
* Act in a professional and welcoming manner, ensuring the caller feels at ease
* Setup new cases/claims and capture relevant and accurate details from the caller
* Identify legal requirements and allocate them to the correct specialist team or practice area
* Provide high quality detail about the caller to the specialist team or practice area

Essential Experience:

* Handling inbound and outbound calls in a high volume environment
* Working towards targets

Required Qualities, Knowledge and Skill Set

* A genuine desire to show the caller we care
* Energetic and enthusiastic about helping people
* An excellent level of attention to detail
* Able to build meaningful rapport
* Clear and empathetic communication skills
* Team spirit and can-do attitude
