The opportunity
We are currently looking for a talented Legal Advisor to join our Sheffield office to provide legal advice as part of the Thompsons Free Legal Advice service. With a passion for blending your technical expertise with your outstanding communication and client care skills, you will take pride in delivering a first class service to our clients. To ensure you thrive in the role, we will provide you with structured supervision, coaching and training as well as a nurturing environment, where you can grow and shape your career.

The role
As a legal advisor, you will proactively capture all relevant information and provide general legal advice on a wide range of topics. Day-to-day actions will include dealing with and responding to calls, emails and messages and providing telephone advice in a professional and timely manner.
You will therefore need to have an excellent telephone manner, polished interpersonal skills and attention to detail to provide a high standard of client care to each client. For the role, it is required that you have a motivation for keeping abreast of key changes in the law and have an ability to share knowledge proactively with other colleagues. You will also need to show empathy and understanding, providing a professional legal service with a personal touch.
