Our client is a multi-office and leading service provider across the West Midlands with numerous accreditations from the Law Society. They are staffed with a team of professional lawyers and support staff who have many years of experience in their individual fields ensuring that they provide expert advice tailored to suit individual client needs. Going above and beyond, they maintain their reputation of quality expertise and deliver a cost-effective, professional service. Their office in Wolverhampton is now seeking a Family / Children Panel Lawyer.

The Role
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive to join a well-established department in Wolverhampton, West Midlands. With a minimum of 2 years previous experience in a Family/Childcare department, you will hit the ground running, assisting with existing workload whilst building new caseload under minimum supervision. Law Society’s Family / Children Panel Membership forms an essential part of this role. Your matters will be diverse consisting of private and public funded matters including: divorce; cohabitation disputes; ancillary relief; domestic violence; Children Act matters; LAA applications and; conducting advocacy. Successful applicants will be commercially aware, possessing top class client skills and a detail-oriented approach to your work. Additionally, you will be willing to participate in business development and networking initiatives for the progress of the firm.

The Candidate
A qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive with a minimum of 2 years PQE;
Solid experience in Family / Childcare is essential;
Family / Children Panel Membership would be highly desirable;
Demonstrate excellent client care and communication skills;
Handle a diverse and interesting caseload to meet key deadlines;
Commercially aware and a willingness to undertake business development and networking initiatives;
Work well in a team and on own initiative.
