Advising a wide range of clients on contentious and non-contentious matters, the successful lawyer will be managing a caseload consisting of all employment claims. Responsibilities
- Contentious and non-contentious matters
- Unfair and wrongful dismissals
- Redundancy and restrictive covenants
- Discrimination, equal opportunities and Equal Pay Act
- TUPE transfers
- Updating company handbooks
- Negotiating settlements
- Business development activities
- Applications are encouraged from legal executives and solicitors with a minimum of one year’s PQE
- Knowledge in employment matters is essential
- Seek to develop and progress in a reputable department
- Highly motivated, ambitious and well organised
- Has an aptitude for business development and marketing
