The opportunity



We are looking for an experienced and skilled Lawyer to join our team of highly successful professional misconduct and criminal lawyers in our Cardiff office. You will be engaged in challenging and rewarding casework, working on a varied caseload of criminal and professional misconduct cases. You will have the opportunity to represent clients who are facing criminal charges.



With a passion for blending your technical expertise with your outstanding communication and client care skills, you will take pride in delivering a first class legal service to our clients. Having the confidence and ability to take appropriate daily decisions on cases to ensure swift progression, will be key to your success. To ensure you thrive in the role, we will provide you with structured supervision, coaching and training as well as a nurturing environment, where you can grow and shape your career.



The role



As a qualified lawyer with at least 2 years’ PQE, you will deal with all aspects of running a case from initial interview of client to trial, with an understanding of all aspects of criminal law and particular Magistrates and Crown Court procedures.



You will need experience of running a varied criminal law caseload. Therefore you will need to be an accredited police station representative with knowledge of relevant procedures. The role requires excellent prioritisation skills and meticulous attention to detail to enable you to construct clear and effective arguments, yielding the best result for our clients. You will also be a team player and will enjoy engaging in marketing and business development opportunities.





A day in the life of a Lawyer is never the same, however a typical day may include undertaking initial contact with clients, taking statements from clients/witnesses, attending police interviews, conferences and court hearings. .
