We are currently looking for a law costs draftsperson to join our costs team in our Cardiff office.  



Role Responsibilities

The successful applicant will draft and manage a caseload of files, provide technical advice and supervision to junior members of the team and work within NewLaw's standard service levels and/or those applicable to particular accounts.  


You will manage files to ensure that all time spent is accurately recorded and ensure the case management system is used properly and effectively and be expected to monitor and manage own compliance with targets in respect of income and drafting.   

  

Minimum Specification

Law degree and/or ALCD qualification

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
Good IT skills in particular microsoft work and excel: previous experience of case management systems and/or CostMaster is an advantage
Self motivated with the ability to prioritise work to meet tight deadlines and achieve key performance indicators
Ability to concentrate in an open office environment
Good organisational skills
Good time keeping
Strong attention to detail
