The role on offer sits within the costs department. If successful, the role will anticipate managing your own case load of costs challenges. Matters include drafting Points of Dispute, drafting and challenging Costs bills/Budgets, setting strategy, negotiating, running claims to detailed assessment across health care (negligence) and Commercial.
It is envisaged that as you gain experience you will increase your workload having responsibility in running complex and higher value cases. Suitable candidates may also have the opportunity to provide advocacy at Costs Case Management Conferences.
More experienced candidates will be presented with complex costs challenges, remuneration will be in line with expertise.
Applicants should be motivated and committed individuals who enjoy operating in a productive environment. A good quality education is essential and demonstrations of being able to work on their own initiative with appropriate level of supervision.
