Position Summary

We are looking for junior paralegals to join our
International Arbitration practice in our Paris office. You should have a
strong desire to work on cross-border arbitrations matters, and acquire the
deep knowledge and understanding of the sector that goes beyond simply
understanding the law.

You will thrive in our intellectually rigorous yet
collegial team, working on complex and high profile arbitration
cases.

We offer internationally oriented and rewarding work

We are looking for English native speakers who are
seeking practical experience in a law firm before going to Law or Graduate
School. We offer a 12 months fixed term contract, starting from March
2021, and that can be extended, only once, for a maximum of 6 months.

Duties and Accountabilities

A paralegal's responsibilities include tasks such as
assisting the attorneys in all phases of arbitration. These tasks include but
are not limited to:

* Organizing and maintaining large electronic and
paper case files

* Proofreading and cite-checking documents, etc.

* Organizing documents for submission with
pleadings, client meetings, filings and hearings

* Dealing with hearing
logistics

Qualifications

Required

* Excellent spoken and written English skills.
Applications from French speakers are strongly encouraged as well

* Interest in international affairs and Arbitration

* Strong academic record and intellectual
curiosity, creative thinker

* Commercial and business
awareness

* Strong organization and time management skills
are necessary

* A detailed-oriented mindset

* Ability to see the big picture

* Strong time management skills, ability to stay
calm under pressure when juggling multiple projects

* Client service focus

* Team player

* Strong judgment

* Proactive, resourceful, takes
initiative

Optional

* Proficient level in French

* A previous work experience in an international
environment and/or in a foreign country

* Good understanding of the key risks and issues
involved in cross-border transactions
