The Role: WBW Solicitors is looking for an experienced IT Technician to join its Central Services team.
Working alongside the IT Manager, assisting with first line helpdesk support for the firm’s 200
users. The role will also involve assisting in the day to day maintenance of the firm’s IT
systems and infrastructure, and occasionally liaising with suppliers and third line support
organisations.
The Candidate: The successful applicant must be able to remain calm and efficient in a busy office
environment, and be able to diagnose faults and remedy solutions for internal users. The
ability to give an excellent service to clients at all times is imperative. Successful candidates
will have previous experience supporting a busy team, be personable, articulate, and enjoy
working both in an individual role and as an integral part of the team. Please note that due to
the nature of the role, we can only accept candidates who hold a valid full UK driving
licence. Essential Knowledge and Skills required from the successful candidate:  Administering Windows 7  Knowledge of Group Policy  Administering Windows Server 2008, 2012, 2016  1-2 Years Helpdesk Experience  Administering Active Directory  Administering Microsoft Office 2013/16  Knowledge of PC Hardware Maintenance  Experience of administering Microsoft Remote Desktop Services
Other skills that are preferable but not essential:  Knowledge of Avaya IP Office Telephony or similar  Experience with Visual Basic for Applications (Macros)  Experience with Legal Support Software  Experience with Digital Dictation Software  Knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server and SQL Applications  Knowledge of VMware configuration and management  Knowledge of SAN Technology  Knowledge of Office 365 and associated applications
