IT Helpdesk Administrator
Northampton - up to £22,000

A highly-regarded, regional law firm are looking for a Helpdesk Administrator to join their IT department in Northampton. Hours are 7.30am-4.00pm, 8.30am-5.00pm and 9.30am-6.00pm (shift pattern) Monday to Friday with an hour for lunch. This is a 37.5 hour week.

Key tasks:

- 1st line support for all PC workstations, servers, network and other IT equipment
- Log and deal with all IT calls
- Maintain IT systems
- Troubleshoot support calls, e.g. hardware and/or software working alongside the rest of the IT Team
- Co-ordinate, book and monitor on-site engineers for installations & maintenance
- Maintain accurate system information and maintenance logs
- Keep IT areas tidy and organised

Person specification:

- Strong & diverse IT skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Interest in helping colleagues with IT problems
- Previous Helpdesk experience
- Familiarity with Microsoft office 2007/2010/2013/2016/365
- General hardware, software and networking support
