IT/Commercial Lawyer 5+ years PQE
Our Commercial Unit (part of the Commercial Group headed by 5 partners with over 30 staff) principally deals with commercial contracts for the private sector. We handle the full spectrum of commercial instructions for a wide range of clients, including major companies in the food, logistics, pharma, manufacturing, energy, retail and technology sectors. The team has extensive expertise in outsourcing; framework and supply arrangements; joint ventures, R&D and collaboration agreements; logistics, warehousing, distribution and supply chain management; IT and technology contracts and information technology advice; agency and distributorship agreements; and franchising.
The Commercial Unit is headed by partner James Crayton and has seven solicitors and a trainee. The team is growing, and an opportunity has arisen for someone to grow the IT side of business. We are looking for a Commercial/IT Lawyer of 5 years pqe upwards with in depth experience of advising on IT and technology arrangements plus more general commercial experience. We are interested in you if you are currently in private practice and looking to develop your career, or commercial practitioners who are in-house and looking for a move back into private practice.
