New legal career opportunities in Birmingham

 Flint Bishop is a multi-award-winning, UK 200 law firm with some of the most talented legal experts in the Midlands.

 We employ over 170 solicitors and support staff between our headquarters in Derby and second office in Ashbourne, with plans to open a new office in Birmingham later this year.

 There has been a significant increase in fee income over the last 12 months, rising by 20%. As a result of this growth, the number of newly recruited staff has risen by 41%.

 We represent a large number of the UK’s leading organisations including government agencies, public sector bodies, PLCs, insurance companies and self-insured clients.

 As recognition of the quality of our legal services, over the last few years, we have won 10 national awards, one international award, been highly commended in two categories and received 17 shortlist nominations.

Due to our continued growth, we are looking to recruit individuals to join our Insurance Litigation Team.

This appointment would be ideal for someone who is looking to develop their career with a challenging workload in a supportive and friendly environment.

  • To manage a small caseload consisting of defendant personal injury litigation matters for motor insurance clients.
  • To work with the Head of Department to develop and implement processes to assist Fee Earners within the Team.
  • To assist in collating and reporting Management Information to our Clients.
  • To be involved in marketing and business development.

Essential qualifications, skills, knowledge and experience:

  • An excellent academic background is desirable;
  • Possess exceptional client care skills;
  • Have intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office;
  • Be highly motivated and ability to genuinely add value to the role;
  • Be able to demonstrate proactive management of matters with a minimum of supervision;

* This is only a guideline and does not preclude applications from candidates who have more or less PQE or equivalent experience
