HR Advisor – Bristol
A fantastic opportunity for an ambitious HR Advisor to join our team in Bristol, to provide comprehensive, commercial and pragmatic HR advice and support to the Firm.

We are looking for an individual to provide maternity cover within our progressive and highly regarded Human Resources team. You will be providing a high quality, professional advisory and support service to our managers and employees in a variety of areas.
You will provide a full generalist HR service to various Operations departments based within our 7 offices nationally. You will provide commercial, pragmatic advice on performance management, absence management, employee relations, resourcing, talent management and employee development, in line with our values and ethos, ensuring consistency and fairness.
You will work closely in a business partnering capacity with the Heads of various Operations departments to proactively manage any HR issues, and report on management information and trends within the division.
You will take ownership of the full end to end employee lifecycle, working closely and collaboratively with the HR Operations team, Recruitment team and your client group, championing our employer brand at every opportunity and identifying ways to improve and enhance it accordingly.
You’ll also be encouraged to contribute to a variety of exciting HR projects and initiatives that we have coming up throughout the year.

All roles within the HR department carry a responsibility for information security and you will need to evidence your understanding of this. You will be required to comply with the information security policy as well as all firm wide policies and procedures. You will be expected to demonstrate expertise, understanding and compliance with the team’s HR processes and standard operating procedures and take responsibility for ensuring that all other members of the HR team do the same, escalating any issues should they arise.

You will like the buzz of a busy role, and be confident in managing multiple priorities and deadlines. You will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a solid understanding of employment legislation, able to deal with a wide range of queries and offer practical advice, even when there is not always a straight-forward solution.
Ideally you will be CIPD qualified, or have studied an HR or business-focused university degree or equivalent. You may have already been working as an HR Advisor for some time, or you may be an HR Assistant who is looking for experience for the next step up in your career. Either way, you will be guided and mentored by one of our HR Advisors and will have the support of our experienced team to develop you and get you fully up to speed in this role.
