This is a rare opportunity for a driven and well-connected family lawyer to join a leading national firm in a key role, overseeing the development of its family offering as it seeks to become the ‘go-to’ provider of high calibre matrimonial advice outside London.

 

The practice has an excellent brand and reputation in the market, not only for the quality of the lawyers it employs and of the matters it handles, but also for the way in which the practice has grown over the last few years and diversified its offering to commercial and private clients alike. The firm already has a strong family law practice but is now looking for a figurehead to take on the running of the team and drive the growth of the department, with the technical knowledge, contacts and all-round nous to make the team a national leader in this field.

 

This is an exceptional opportunity for an ambitious lawyer keen to really make their mark. It is likely that you will already enjoy an excellent reputation in the family law sector and this position will provide you with the platform and resources to take your career to the next level, working with HNW clients on matters including divorce, ancillary relief, co-habitation disputes, private children matters and complex financial issues. You will also have strong leadership skills, able to inspire others within the team to follow your example whilst giving the support and guidance required to build the firm’s offering further. You will also likely have a portable network of clients and referrers, although the hire is not dependent upon a ‘live’ following.
