CQS accredited firm in Essex seeks a skilful lawyer to head its residential property department on a full-time, permanent basis.
Our client is currently seeking an ambitious lawyer to head their thriving residential property department in Colchester. Working alongside the senior partner, the successful applicant will utilise their expertise to oversee the firm’s residential property team whilst handling a varied caseload. Flexibility will be essential for this role as there may be a requirement to travel to the firm’s other offices on occasion.
• Sales and purchases
• Freehold and leasehold
• Mortgages and re-mortgages
• Help to buy
• Right to buy
• Shared ownership
• Transfers of equity
• Lease extensions
• New builds
• Business development and networking
• Solicitors, legal executives and conveyancers with a minimum of 4 years’ PQE
• Experience in residential conveyancing is required for this role
• Proven team leading and department management experience
• Excel in communication both verbally and written
• Be a strong team player with the accompanying ability to work individually under your own initiative
