Legal 500 firm in the West Midlands seeks a technically strong lawyer to head their litigation department on a full-time, permanent basis.

Able to hit the ground running, the successful solicitor or legal executive will utilise their skills and expertise to handle a varied and complex caseload, alongside overseeing the firm’s litigation team and managing the department day to day. This position is based in our client’s multi-accredited, Legal 500 practice located in Coventry.

Responsibilities
• Professional negligence
• Debt recovery
• Breach of contract
• Negotiating settlements
• Shareholders disputes
• Business tenancy renewals
• Property disputes
• Boundary disputes
• Neighbour disputes
• Landlord and tenant matters
• Staff management
• Business development

The Candidate
• Solicitors and legal executives with a minimum of seven years’ PQE
• Experience in litigation is essential for this role
• Have the ability to manage and lead a team
• Strive for high standards in your work
• Demonstrate a flair for business development and marketing
• Flexibility is essential as there will be a requirement to travel to the firm’s other offices
