Senior Associate We are looking for a Senior Associate to join our highly regarded Corporate Team in
our London office. This is an exciting opportunity to gain experience working for a
dynamic team within an outstanding firm that strives to be the best in industry and is
committed to the development of its people.
The Corporate Team
The Corporate Team acts for high quality clients across a range of sectors and geographies,
increasingly with an international element. Typical clients will range from entrepreneurs
through to quoted companies, and we provide a full spectrum of corporate advisory services,
including M&A, restructuring, joint ventures, investment, capital markets and corporate
recovery. With a regular volume of M&A transactions, we will be particularly interested in
candidates with a preference for this area and strong credentials to support this.
The Corporate Team operates across our Cambridge and London offices and is led by
Adam Bradley. Our team comprises four partners, three senior associates and five
associates. With our practice in high-growth, we are now seeking to add to our team through
a mixture of organic growth and strategic lateral hires.
Your skills and experience
Taking a broad technical knowledge of corporate law and transactions as a given, we are
looking for an ambitious, hardworking lawyer with five or more years’ PQE (or equivalent)
who shares our passion for our clients’ businesses and adding value by providing practical
and commercial advice.
As a senior member of our team, you will have strong delegating skills and enjoy supervising
and developing junior members of the team, allowing you to take on high levels of
responsibility and lead transactions with the Partners. The variety of client matters at any
one time will also require you to prioritise these to meet their respective deadlines.
We also recognise that business development is a key skill in your continued progression
and are looking for candidates who enjoy furthering client relations and developing new
leads and contacts.
We are proud of our collegiate, entrepreneurial culture and are particularly careful to ensure
there are opportunities for each member of the team to thrive and progress quickly through
their careers. We have a good track record for this, which we put down to the time we invest
in developing our lawyers to be able to operate autonomously through providing significant
exposure to our clients, resulting in you becoming a first point of contact for many of them.
