Family Solicitor Panel Member

Salary up to £45,000 (negotiable)

I am pleased to be working with my client again on another Family Law opportunity as the firm continues to expand. This law firm in Preston and they are looking to recruit a Family Solicitor who is a Panel Member and meets the LAA supervision standard.

The firm has a very good reputation and are known for their professional and tailored approach. The family practice is a close-knit team so you will need to have a flexible approach to working with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

The successful candidate will have experience of managing a large caseload up to high cost case level and with a clear understanding of the regulatory and contractual requirements that underpin legal aid work, together with the requisite ability to liaise sensitively with our clients. You will also be required to supervise and develop a paralegal assigned to support you.

The ideal candidate will be a 5+ years Solicitor and have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and a focus on exceptional client care. You will be a dedicated, ambitious individual who is keen on joining a recognised team, with excellent work, that will develop you career further.

The position would suit someone who is highly organised, accurate, proactive, and committed to meeting deadlines while remaining calm under pressure. This is a client facing role so excellent all-round communication skills are essential.
