Legal Works is recruiting an employment solicitor 2-6PQE for this exciting commercial 'tech' driven practice based in the designer Tunbridge Wells office.
FIRM
This FIRM, wanted to see a fresh way of delivering legal advice to clients. They knew that the traditional old school law firm model was broken, hated the focus on billing and time recording, overly competitive cultures, demanding work hours and not being a true legal partner to the clients.
So, they created a model that works for both the clients and the staff, using a subscription based model and using the latest technology to better work with clients. The result is a hybrid in-house and private practice model where the FIRM acts as clients in-house team. The FIRM's staff does not have any billable targets and no time recording.
The FIRM has a predominant Technology market focus, specifically targeting Microsoft Partners in technologies such as SharePoint, Azure, Office365, Dynamics as well as offering Cyber Security advice.
The FIRM also advises non-technology companies such as recruitment companies, telecommunications companies and the like as well as getting on board to help start-ups to well established medium sized businesses of up to £35 million turnover.
YOU
To be successful YOU will:-
*Be a qualified Solicitor at a good law firm or in-house team Circa 2-6 years PQE; *Have a real passion for working in Employment; *Have first class & proven ability to develop excellent partnerships with executive-level leaders as well as being nimble at establishing a high degree of credibility, respect, & trust. *Be detail-orientated with the ability to think quickly & practically, & to be able to multitask, prioritize, cope well with competing deadlines, and deliver high-quality client service. *Be comfortable working independently & manage your own work-load. *Be a high performer who thrives in a fast-paced business environment. *Have excellent organisational & communication skills; a desire to learn; & a commitment to the highest ethical standards. *Have the confidence to exercise sound judgement, be solutions-based, take responsibility & ownership of issues. *Have the ability to resolve complex legal issues ensuring a strong commercia, business-friendly approach is taken.
This ROLE is full-time flexi-agile (2 days in the office) with excellent performance-based bonus arrangements. You can work from home and from the modern office specifically designed to reflect the tech driven client base.
