Employment Solicitor

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Employment Solicitor to join a long-established Lexcel accredited law firm who are highly regarded and lead a modern and progressive firm of experienced solicitors who value their culture of client service.

The team are currently made up of two experienced Solicitors, one of which is a Senior Partner within the firm and also heads the Employment department. This friendly and proactive team pride themselves on providing a high quality of service and support both employers and employees over a long period of time in order to cater to their individual circumstances.

Responsibilities:

  • As the Employment Solicitor, you will undertake a varied caseload including:
  • Employment contracts, policies and employee handbooks
  • Workplace disputes, including grievances and employee disciplinary issues
  • Discrimination issues
  • Whistleblowing
  • Termination and Settlement Agreements
  • Restructuring and redundancy
  • Employment tribunal representation

Requirements:

  • You will ideally be 1 - 2 years PQE
  • Confident, professional and friendly with the ability to build good working relationships internally and externally
  • Ability to deliver high levels of personal service
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills
  • Strong organisational and administrative skills
