This firm, a highly regarded national firm in Birmingham, are looking to appoint an Employment Solicitor/Associate to join their thriving team.
About the role
This Employment team are highly rated both in Legal 500 and Chambers & Partners and act for a wide range of Respondent clients in numerous sectors including retail, financial services, manufacturing and leisure.
The work of the successful Employment Solicitor/Associate will include the following:
- Managing your own caseload from inception of the claim to trial or settlement
- Non contentious matters including advising on employment policy and corporate support work
- Advising on TUPE regulations & Redundancy situations
- Discrimination including sex, race, age and religion
About the person
The Employment Solicitor/Associate must be a UK qualified solicitor with between 0 and 8 years experience although candidates with more experience will also be strongly considered.
To be successful in this role, the Employment Solicitor/Associate must be a clear communicator, have excellent negotiating skills, enjoy working as part of a team and possess a keen eye for detail. Experience of managing junior fee earners is preferential but not a pre-requisite.
